There are two flagship campaigns the Foundation is currently implementing


The wealth is here campaign is a strategy by British American Tobacco Nigeria Foundation to drive youths' engagement in agriculture by exposing them to agribusiness development opportunities, increasing their access to finance and most importantly to help drive the narrative of hope and optimism in Nigeria. The Business of Agriculture Masterclass is a series of virtual information sessions anchored by experts to spotlight opportunities available across various agriculture value chains and how to harness them for income generation. The aim of the sessions is to create awareness on the profitability of agriculture as a business, encourage multiplicity of investment for income generation and expose participants to the opportunities in agriculture while showing participants how they can tap into it and make for themselves non-correlated sources of residual income. CHARITY GRANT: The Charity Challenge provides an opportunity for non-governmental organizations (NGOs) across Nigeria to participate. Donation of funds to local charity organization that’s making a positive impact in the society.  The BATN Foundation will donate N1 million naira to the selected charity organization.

To be eligible, NGOs must be duly registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) or other relevant agencies. NGOs should have proven experience in areas such as poverty reduction, education, and sustainable development. They should also have a strong reputation for charitable work. The selection process involves a comprehensive review and evaluation of detailed proposals submitted by interested NGOs. Shortlisted NGOs will undergo due diligence to verify their legal status, reputation, and alignment with the Foundation’s values and performance goals. The call for application processes opens annually, please watch out for the call for application. This initiative demonstrates the BATN Foundation’s commitment and its dedication to making a positive impact in rural Nigeria. By partnering with strong and experienced NGOs, the Foundation aims to build a more prosperous and sustainable future for all. If you know any deserving NGOs, feel free to nominate them for this meaningful challenge!
